Azadi Square ((ペルシア語:میدان آزادی - Meydān e Āzādi)), literally the Freedom or Liberty Square, is a city square in Tehran, Iran. It has an area of about 50,000 m2, plus adjacent areas, and is the largest square in Tehran and the second largest in Iran, being smaller than Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan. The 50 m Azadi Tower is in the centre of the square. Before the Iranian Revolution, it was called the "Shahyad Square" ((ペルシア語:میدان شهیاد - Meydān e Ŝahyād)) meaning "King Memorial Square", and was the site of many of the Revolution's demonstrations leading up to 12 December 1979. The square was again the site of mass opposition during the 2009–2010 Iranian election protests.〔http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/meast/02/07/iran.egypt.rally/〕 ==Roads== * From North: 30px Mohammad Ali Jenah Expressway * From West: 30px18px Karaj Makhsus (Special) Road * From Southwest: 30px Mehrabad Airport entrance Road * From South: 30px Saidi Expressway * From East: 20px Azadi Street 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Azadi Square」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
